Ha ha ha. Yes. Not a perfect movie, but a bunch of inspired performances and moments strung together. I can't recommend it enough. Heath Ledger is just about as good as the hype says he is.
And hey, it's a good year to be nerdy and into movies. I totally saw the trailer for The Watchmen and got goose bumps. They had better not screw this up.
Also, The Spirit. I honestly have no idea whether or not it'll be any good, but Cleo and I are signed up. The comic rules.
PERSEPOLIS! FINALLY! We've been wanting to see this forever, being fans of the graphic novels, and it's absolutely incredible. The story of a girl growing up in 70's/80's Iran. Seek it out, you'll thank me. 2D animation. Screw you, Shreks of the world.
Mad Men, on AMC, is great great great. I'm about 4 episodes in thus far and I'm loving it.
